How it all started
Hi! I’m Cristina, your Sunvibes host! Here’s a little bit about my story and how Sunvibes started.
Everything started 7 years ago when I decided to go on a solo trip for 7 months, starting in New Zealand, stopping by Australia and then ending in South East Asia. This traveling changed me as a person, and it also ignited a passion in me: Traveling & Hospitality.
After 7 months in hotels, hostels, Airbnbs and home stays, I came back home (Colombia) reminiscing about all the great places I had stayed at and cringing about the not so great!
I had felt first hand the impact a well designed space and a great host could have on a traveler and their experience while abroad. I wanted to create a space where travelers could feel at home, while experiencing all the great things about being on vacation; relaxation, inspiration, fun. I wanted to become their “local friend”, (like those special hosts I had encountered traveling) I knew how important it was to feel you have someone you can go to, to answer any questions and solve any issues during a trip.
After a year of living in Miami, I felt Florida was a perfect place to welcome visitors from all over the world. With my background on design and my passion for hospitality, I opened the doors to my first Vacation Rental, Sunhouse, 5 years ago. Since then, I’ve never looked back!
My husband and I now have 3 more Vacation Rentals, part of the Sunvibes Collection, and I’m fully dedicated to hosting travelers from around the world.
I’ve poured all my love into each of the Sunvibes Vacation Rentals, they’re all unique but share the main principles and values of Sunvibes: Offering an amazing space, fully equipped for having the best vacation possible in Florida with a friendly host on call for any questions or issues that may arise.
My goal is that you have the best experience in Florida and that you create memories you will never forget!
